Welcome!

The German Ferrofluid Workshop will take place as usual in cloister in Benediktbeuern. The workshop will start on September 25th and will last until September 27th, about noon. The workshop itself is devoted - as in the past years - to the most recent development in ferrofluid research. This covers all classical areas of ferrofluid research as physico-chemistry, microstructure, numerical simulations, ferrohydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer, engineering and biomedical applications etc. Moreover, magnetorheological fluids and composites are traditionally among the topics of the workshop. We will meet in the beautiful located cloister Benediktbeuern, south of Munich.

It is planned to have the traditional walking tour into the mountains, a beer and pretzel poster session as well as a conference dinner.
